25 Days of Christmas Day 7

Luke 1:   1Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled[a] among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

Holidays are perfect for creating memories.

For me, one of my favorite memories is that of my early childhood. However, I cannot recall if I was dreaming or if it was real but it is forever etched in my memory bank. Maybe that is why to this day I eagerly entertain the imaginations of my nieces and nephews during this holiday season.

It was Christmas Eve and we were supposed to be asleep. I heard some noise and snuck out of bed to peek under the hallway door. To my surprise, I saw Santa’s boots and my mom facing him. Then suddenly I saw my mom kissing Santa Claus. Santa laughed which caused me to run back to my room and jump back into bed hoping that I wouldn’t get caught. To this day I never found out if it was all a dream or reality. Yet, it is still a memory I cherish.

In the spirit of the holidays, share one of your favorite past-times.
